Thursday Challenge - WOODEN

This week's challenge is "Wooden" as in Ship, House, Furniture, Carpentry tools, trees etc...When I was deeply thinking about what else could be wooden in nature, Viola, it struck me with this!!

These are the wooden barrels used for storing those 'magical liquids' that men crave for.

What a day!

It's summer solstice today, the longest day in the year.  But the weather god had shown the cruel side of him, and it has been awfully raining and disgustingly cold here throughout.
Much I had been waiting for a good weather, it always puts me down.  April seemed to be much better in terms of weather and sunshine and holidays too :)

Am back! Am back!

Am back guys, after a long hiatus!


Yeah..i know it was awful to intentionally be away from the blogosphere and Facebook.  It wasn't any kind of escapism.  


Things have been very busy my side, and I thought, what better reason to condition the mind to be away from internet!


It wasn't as difficult as I thought.  See..I have been away from mails and Facebook and blog and Flickr for a good 1.5 month now. 


For some time I went and lived the world of pre-internet era!  I tell you, it's a bliss!  


Have you done anything better during this time, you may ask.  My answer is no.  But it was nice!  


And thanks to those dozen bunch of friends who wrote me email to know about my absence!
