Happy Birthday DADDY!!!

October 31, 2007....
Happy Birthday to the best dad
Being your daughter,
I am very glad
Of all the men I knew
Best people are very few;
I will sing their praises aloud
But you are the one
I am more proud.
 I like all that you share
And I realize how much you care
 Think not that I’ve kept your advices apart
I’ve written them deeply in my heart;
There is no man whom I respect more
When I think about you I always soar!
 I still remember the Father’s day
When I wrote a small poem for you
For which I got the first prize
Which I’d never let anyone seize
That cute ring made of gold
Which I will always hold.
 You’ve forgiven me for all mistakes
I did I dint realise I was no more a kid
I never knew you were right
As I lost the sight
You are my Hero
Anyone in comparison with you is Zero
 You are not a time teller
You are a clock builder
Without you Dad
I wouldn’t be what I am today
To you DAD on this special day
I wish all good on your way
Today…tomorrow…Always...

Luv u always,
Anu.

After the long story of our railway station, I've been getting comments to post more such incidents; Not just that, as I told earlier, I have too many such entertaining embarrassments or creepy moments which is worth writing, and worth reading too :)

Navarathri - a festival to celebrate

Its Navarathri time (Nine nights in sanskrit). For those who don’t know about this festival, Navarathri Golu is a traditional display of dolls in steps. Special puja is performed for nine nights, and we invite our friends, relatives to house on this occasion. Coming back.....My mom and I started our preparations for Golu a month before the actual festival and the most imperative, indeed the first step in the entire process is....of course HOUSE CLEANING activity.
